Toughing it Out

Wednesday, August 27, 2003 -- "Is it okay if I quit football?" Zach said. "Just stick it out a while longer. It gets to be more fun once the games start" I told him. Besides, I didn't raise my boys to be quitters... I raised them to be whiners. Joshua says Zach's just being a big "wus." On a more positive note, Zach made it through practice without throwing up today (that must be a good sign). Per Joshua's request, I cooked up a pot of potato soup for dinner. It earned high praise from Cathi. "It's not that I don't like it, but it makes me sweat." Uh... okay, thanks?
