Cathi's Roaming Pillow

Monday, September 8, 2003 -- I stopped by football practice today then spent the rest of the evening mowing grandma's yard. The boys were supposed to help me but somehow talked us into letting them attend the GIRLS volleyball game. Grandma reports that Angie and Johnny are coming to visit this weekend. She says they bring another load of meat down every time they visit so I could help myself to anything in the freezer. She also reminded me to take Cathi's pillow to her. Cathi left her favorite pillow in our Howard Reunion cabin in Kerrville two months ago and Crazy Aunt Angie was kind enough to pick it up as they were leaving the resort. To Cathi's relief, it finally made it's way back to Skidmore.

The planet mars was visible at sundown this evening. It looks like a bright daytime "star" just to the left and below the moon.
