Ring of Power

Monday, September 1, 2003 -- Cathi called just after noon to announce she and the boys were on their way home. Joshua somehow ended up with a copy of the "Lord of the Rings, Two Towers" DVD he has been bugging me to purchase all week. We watched a bit of it before it was time to start dinner. Joshua helped me fire up the barbecue pit and we played a little catch while the coals were warming up. We called it quits after the baseball landed in the Husers pool for the 3rd time. After dinner, the boys and I sat down to watch the rest of the movie. Josh and Zach had already seen it of course so they made a point of letting me know when the "really cool parts" were coming up. "Do you remember the part... when that elf guy... like... grabbed that other guy's horse as he was riding by... and swung up into the saddle behind him? Remember that? That was SO cool!"
