Wednesday, October 8, 2003 -- Eloy called and will be in town while his dad goes through surgery to repair an artery in his neck on Thursday. He and I discussed his Mr. DelBosques' condition and other current events over a few beers at the Horseshoe Lounge. Eloy flirted the barmaid into sharing her big bag of pork rinds and even offered to donate $100 to "Bobcat Little League." I may hold him to it.
