Marlins win in 12th Inning

Wednesday, October 22, 2003 -- Only a few people showed up for Beeville's Little League board of directors election so the meeting was rescheduled for Monday, November 3rd. I turned over the League's Laptop computer to the outgoing president and promised to attend the Nov. 3 meeting to explain my convoluted filing system to the incoming "Information Officer." Back at the house, I sent Joshua to bed after the Marlins game went into extra innings. When Alex Gonzales hit the game winning home run in the 12th inning, I woke Josh up to tell him the news but by that point he was too groggy to care.
