Science Friction

Tuesday, November 4, 2003 -- The boys had me sign off on a couple of "off the shelf" science projects this evening. Zach is going to compare carpet cleaners and Joshua plans to test kernal popping of the various microwave popcorns. I tried to talk them into coming up with more creative projects but they claim to be incapable of independent thought. "You're never going to be anything but average if you don't push the envelope once in a while" I told them. Joshua snapped back. "What's wrong with that!? You're nothing special." I guess the teenage years have officially kicked in.
