Score One for Bobcat Little League

Monday, November 10, 2003 -- There was a large crowd of people at tonight's STISD Trustee meeting. At first, I thought they were Little League folks but it turned out to be an angry mob of students and parents upset about the band director being reassigned mid-semester. I arrived an hour late expecting to be able to walk right in after the board broke for closed session but the band director issue pushed everything back a couple of hours. It was 10 pm when I finally stepped up to the podium to answer questions. In the end, the board voted unanimously to allow us to build a ballpark on the land adjacent to the football field. Score!
