Long-Hairs and Rednecks

Tuesday, December 16, 2003 -- After tonight's Little League meeting, I hit both the Hoot Owl and Lucky Horseshoe saloon. The Hoot Owl is stocking Shiner Bock again despite the fact that I rarely head out that way. At the horseshoe, I learned that the Hoot Owl had hired away one of the Horseshoe's bartenders and that management between the two establishments don't exactly get along. I overheard lots of other good stuff but as the sign at the door says "What you see, what you hear, when you leave, leave it here."
