Wednesday, December 17, 2003 -- Cathi, Josh, and I attended Zach's Christmas program this evening. The band has improved considerably since last year. I hope Zach is able to stick it out with his "saxomophone" all the way through high-school. The subject of the new Lord of the Rings movie "Return of the King" came up over dinner at Chisholm. Joshua decided he wanted to go see it immediately. "I'm not taking you to see the 8 pm showing of a 3 1/2 hour movie on a school night" I said. Of course the discussion ended predictably. Josh got mad, hit Zach, and got grounded.
