The DEATH Planet

Saturday, January 3, 2004 -- I'm all excited about tonight's landing of the Mars Spirit Lander. I killed time during the day with a trip to McCoys for pavers (so Piglet can more easily descend the steps to go potty) and Walmart for more laundry detergent. Now I'm really on a roll. After tinkering with the tiller for an hour or so I was able to start it on the FIRST pull! Yehaw. I am happy to report that the garden is well tilled and ready for planting. Even more exiting news came later when Nasa failed to crash another rover into the planet Mars. I was up until the wee hours to be one of the first to see the resulting pictures. Darn. Rocks.
