Tuesday, January, 20, 2004 -- Dropped Cathi off in Beeville this morning. She is driving into Dallas with her coworkers for a seminar. The rickety van they originally planned to use for the trip broke down and they ended up using somebody's new truck - probably for the best. Mr. Duggins sat down at my table in Chisholm this afternoon and invited me to join the Lions Club. I told him I'd be happy to join but that I would probably miss a lot of meetings with all of my other extracurricular activities.
