Thursday, January, 22, 2004 -- Josh called me on my cell phone at 5 o'clock this afternoon to let me know that their track meet in Kenedy had been cancelled. I thanked him for letting me know as I pulled a u-turn into the Barth's parking lot. A few days ago, I made the mistake of promising Zach that if the little black stray dog wandering the school grounds managed to find his way to our house, I would "not run him off." And what do you know, he made it. Naturally, Zach is all excited about "MY new dog." He even set up one of our old kennels in the front yard for it to sleep in.
