Uncle Ronnie Pulls Some Overtime

Monday, May 10, 2004 -- Uncle Ronnie didn't make it back from work in time for practice so I worked with the boys until coach Butler arrived. He and Rene Gutierrez took over after I left for Beeville to watch the Major Girls Softball game. I've received a couple of complaints related to the girls team and decided I'd better have a look for myself. Naturally, the coaches, parents, umpires, and players were on their best behavior. I'm not sure what the fuss was all about.
