Loss to Refugio

Friday, July 2, 2004 -- The Junior All-Stars played their first tournament game this evening and fell to Refugio by a score of 6-3. Our pitching ace, Ricky Gutierrez, held Refugio to just 2 runs after a disastrous 4 run 1st inning. Our boys loaded up the bases several times during the game but just could not force enough runners across home plate.
