We Miss You Brett

Sunday, July 18, 2004 -- Cathi and the boys and I travelled to San Antonio today to take part in the memorial highway cleanup in honor of Brett Huser. As most of you know, Brett was killed in an auto accident in February and the Starbucks where he worked at the time adopted a stretch of Rogers Ranch Road in his name. It was good to see so many people from our neck of the woods (the Keeners, Wallaces, etc.) made the trip into San Antonio to help with the cleanup. Today would have been Brett's 20th birthday so it was an extra special occasion. On the way out of town we decided to have lunch at EZ's in the Quarry shopping center. And of course, being so close to Amy's, we coudn't pass up the opportunity for a little Mexican Vanilla ice cream with strawberrys.
