Saturday, September 25, 2004 -- Papaw Head, Arnold, and I loaded the boys up this afternoon for a dove hunting trip to the valley. Zach and I took turns reading "All Creatures Great and Small" on the drive. I checked it out of the library after Zach told me he wanted to become a veterinarian. There were plenty of birds on the lease but most were young and full of pinfeathers. Joshua added to the days take by bagging a rabbit on the way out.
