Contraction

Wednesday, October 13, 2004 -- The boys and I met Cathi in Beeville for lunch at Taqueria. Zach desperately wanted to visit Walmart but was disappointed to find they were not selling batting gloves in the baseball off-season. He thinks the gloves will help him get a better grip on runners during his football games. At baseball practice, we learned that, once again, the 8th and 7th grade football teams were going to be combined. That will probably mean Zach gets less playing time. We'll know for sure tomorrow when they go up against Banquete. Spent the rest of the evening telling the boys to hush while I watched the 3rd and final presidential debate.
