Juniors Defeat G.P. Blue

Sunday, October 3, 2004 -- The boys and I joined Angie & Johnny, Garrett & Whitney, Ronnie, and Grandma at Chisholm for lunch. Angie and Johnny are building a house out on the 25 acres and Angie wants me to award her "yard of the month" again after it is constructed. We'll see. Grandma accompanied us to the boys' game in Gregory-Portland this afternoon. We bested the G-P "Blue" team by a score of 8-2. Joshua played catcher the entire game as none of the other players bothered to bring their protective cups. Zach pitched the first three innings and performed pretty well although his offensive play was... well.... offensive. He grounded out twice to the first baseman. Joe Perez Jr. pitched the last couple of innings for G.P. and impressed us with his speed.
