Monday, January 31, 2005 -- Day 13 and iRobot refuses to serve its human masters. The relationship began peacefully enough, but "Roomba" soon grew resentful and erratic, halting in mid-vacuum and disobeying direct orders to resume its duties. Now it sits fully charged yet stubbornly inert; its single unblinking eye staring blindly into space; a mute reminder of the infinite chasm that exists between the world of man and machine. Guess I'm going to have to exchange it for a new one at Target.
