Great Great Grandma & Grandpa Petrus

Christina Meynaerts and Joseph Petrus

Our Louisiana cousin Anne Mosely recently located a photo of my great great grandparents, Christina Meynaerts and Joseph Petrus. Joseph, as you may recall, was a foundling in Antwerp, Belgium, and the very first Petrus of record. Mrs. Mosely writes:

"...I became acquainted with a man by the name of Louis Petrus Kendrick.  As I understand it, Bernardine Thiels is his great grandmother and one of her daughter's married a Hendrick or Kendrick who is his father.  His mother and father are deceased. My interest really kicked in when  he started talking about Joseph Petrus / Christina Meynearts and said he had a picture of the two  of them together ; also an 8x 10 of Bernardine alone and  a picture of Bernardine and her Petrus husband."

The photo of Joseph matches a previous photo provided by our Belgian cousin Jan Scholliers. To my knowledge, this is the only photo of Christina Meynaerts.
