Zach Goes to State for his Saxomophone Playin'

John Salinas, Victoria Lopez, Zach Petrus, Nick Gentry, and band director Florencio Lara.

Friday, March 11, 2005 -- As if we didn't have enough to be proud of the boys about (what with the straight A's and all), Zachary's Saxophone Band Ensemble earned a trip to state in a recent competition. The ensemble played during this morning's High School Art Exhibit opening at the school libary. According to Zach, earning a trip to state as an 8th grader means he'll get his letterman jacket as a freshman in high school.
