Kudos for Zach

Zach shakes hands with S-T ISD Trustee Danny Gonzales.

As if his ego weren't inflated enough already, Zach and his band ensemble buddies received special recognition at tonight's school board meeting. Zach earned two certificates - one for his part in the First Division Ensemble, and one for his Second Division Solo. Zach claims he would have gotten First Division Solo if he weren't having to use his old and busted handed-down-from-his-mama saxomophone.

The ensemble treated the packed assembly room to a sample of the music that earned them a berth in state competition. So... very... proud!
