Zach Gets the Win

Thursday, June 16, 2005 -- It wasn't always pretty, but Zach took the mound for George West Stampede for the first time this evening and recorded a win against their Falls City opponent. The Falls City team was two players short and had to borrow Shannon and Cameron from our team - the latter of which Zach managed to hit with a pitch. The score was 3-2 in favor of Stampede when Zach was relieved by his buddy Ted Christensen at the top of the 5th inning. Ted had already helped Zach out by catching two fly balls in left field. The final score was 7-2
