...Two Baseball Tournaments

Saturday, July 16, 2005 -- Josh and Zach's games are both at 9:30 this morning. Cathi decided to stay and watch Zachary's game while I made the hour drive into Eagle Pass. I not sure who picked the better game. Zach's team was pushed immediately into the losers bracket with a 0-16 loss to the Tri Counties team. Joshua's team didn't fare much better. They lost 2-8 to the Del Rio team and they too dropped to the losers bracket. All the parents who complained about their children not getting enough playing time on my Little League teams got a little payback today as Joshua played just the final two innings of the game. He played his two innings well though - catching one pop up and making several good scoops at 1st base. More to come...
