Grandma's a Winner

Wednesday, December 21, 2004 -- First, happy birthday Cathi. The boys and I drove into Beeville this evening to take her shopping for her birthday present and to dinner. As it turned out, we ran into Kathy & Steve at Bealls and ended up having dinner with them a Chisholm. We arrived at the cafe in time for the Lions Club Christmas Stocking raffle drawing (which I had completely forgotten about). Zach was recruited to draw the winning ticked and somehow managed to pull one of the ten tickets I purchased for Grandma. Grandma was especially surprised considering she won the one of the Lions Club Easter baskets earlier this year.
