Sorry about that photo caption.

It is the forbidden dance...
...the lamb-ada.

Thursday, February 2, 2006 -- Tough breaks today at the Stock Show. Joshua's hog finished 9th out of 16 and Zach's lamb finished a disappointing 8th out of 10. It will take some kind of miracle for either one of them to make the special sale. Josh did take Honorable Mention in "showmanship" so the day was not a total loss. As I log this entry, Zach is also competing in the "showmanship" division (Cathi agreed to bring the boys home tonight). He looked sharp to me earlier so I'm expecting at least an honorable mention from him as well.

Now all our hopes are on Uncle Johnny's imported from West Texas super goat "Rocky." Zach will show him at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Let's hope he's a "contender."
