Friday, March 30, 2006 -- Josh was pretty disgusted after this evenings 3-2 loss to Odem. He said the plate umpire was one of the dumbest he had ever seen. He says the umpire, when questioned on a call by coach Gonzales, told him "If you don't know, I'm not going to tell you" (or something to that effect). The umpire got into it with coach Gonzales on the field after the game, then got into a shouting match with Bucky Haws (and family) as he was leaving the field. "I'll have you thrown in jail" he told Bucky who replied "I've been there before." Luckily, two law enforcement officers were in attendance and kept things from getting out of hand. You have to love High School sports.
