Saturday, May 13, 2006 -- Uncle Ronnie dropped by this evening and we sat around the unlit firepit waiting for the results of the school board election. He finally called it quits and headed back to Beeville around 10:30. It was almost midnight when I got the call reporting I had won by just 10 votes.
