Baseball No Show

Tuesday, June 27, 2006 -- Not a single player from Joshua's Three Rivers Flax team showed up at this evening's game in Beeville - not even the coach - and after calling to notify all the players. Oh well, they ended up playing a rotating 3-batter scrimmage anyway and Josh got to practice his hitting. Zach chose not to participate in protest over not letting him hang out with his buddies in Skidmore. There was no water at the field for some reason so Josh REALLY enjoyed his subsequent "Limonada" at Taqueria Vallarta.
