No Decision

Zach, happy to have been beaned.

Saturday, July 15, 2006 -- Zach was the closer (final two innings) of this evening's game versus Fall City. The team pulled ahead in the 6th inning and he would gotten the win if he hadn't allowed the tying run in the 7th. Actually, Zach wasn't really at fault considering he struck out 3 of the 6 batters he faced. A runner ended up at 3rd on fielding errors then stole home on a squeeze play. Zach got to the ball on time but had to rush an off-target throw to to the catcher. All said, it was a good game that ended in a tie.
