People are so thoughtful

Sunday, August 20, 2006 -- Yes, people sure are nice. A woman picked up my basket at HEB this afternoon which just happened to contain my little black dayrunner with checks, credit cards, cell phone, etc. I was picking out plums at the time and glanced down to see it was missing. The woman had placed the basket in her cart and was heading, I can only assume, to the customer service counter to report it as lost. "Miss," I called after her. "Oh, is this yours?," she said as she handed it back to me. Thank goodness she was there to perform her good deed. I would hate to think that it might have been STOLEN!
