Playin' Foosball

Saturday, August 19, 2006 -- The boys and I were up bright and early this morning to get ready for the season's first football scrimmage against Mathis. Josh and Zach both suited up with the JV. Zach made a nice run up the middle as a "J-back" and Joshua racked up 7 tackles at linebacker. Not too shabby! Cathi and I snuck away for breakfast at Chisholm shortly after the Varsity squad took over. Two men from Mathis entered the cafe later and I guess they were less than impressed with the performance of their team. "It's going to be a long season," said man #1. "Yep...," said man #2, "...looks like we need to find a smaller school to scrimmage against."
