Zoidberg
Saturday, September 17, 2006 -- A dachshund has been hanging around the neighborhood for the last few days. I posted a "Found Dog" notice to the Skidmore Signal website last night and was surprised to find the following comment this morning (complete with misspellings).
This is m dog! How did you know his name was Zoidberg? We tought that was a pretty original name? He is an inside dog and loves to play fetch! His faviorite dog food is purina small bites and he loves to sleep at the end of my bed! He is completely potty trained. I cantt take care of him any more and would appreiceate it if you would keep him and take care of him! He is about 4 years old and is a great dog. lis peruka
My theory that one of our neighbors posted the comment as a joke turned out to be off by one house. We were discussing the high improbability of someone naming a dog "Zoidberg" over tacos at Taqueria Vallarta when Zach's evil grin gave himself away. Yes, he REALLY wants to keep this dog.
