It was good to know him

Wednesday, October 25, 2006 -- Cathi and I attended the funeral of Jr. Lopez today. He was the younger brother of my classmate Delma Lopez. He died Saturday, October 21, on his birthday (age 40) in a one vehicle rollover out by the Amish farm. His daughter Victoria is one of Zach's classmates. She spoke about her father at the funeral and I'm sure he would have been proud of her strength and poise. He was one of the nicest people I knew. It's a shame bad things have to happen to such good people.
