Commendations Galore

Thursday, May 11, 2007 -- Zach's been bugging me to spread his good news for the last couple of days now, so here goes. Mrs. Holubec came up to me before Monday's Sports Awards Banquet and said that Josh and Zach had accomplished a "school first." It seems that both boys not only aced all four of the their TAKS tests, but earned the State's "Commended" status on all four as well. Mrs. Holubec thinks it's the first time two siblings have accomplished this feat. As for the Athletic Awards Banquet, Zach once again shares the Bobcat "Tennis Player of the Year" award with buddy Chris Patrova.
