Tuesday, May 22, 2007 -- Mrs. Benavidez invited me to speak to the 3rd Grade classes in the school library this afternoon. The plan was to tell them all about the publication of the Skidmore Signal. It was sad to see their hopeful smiles slowly fade as I launched into my long boring speech about printing. Actually, the speech was mercifully short and I'm guessing the kids were happy to have their regular school day interrupted at any cost.
