4th of July at Uncle Bubba's Lakehouse

Wednesday, July 4, 2007 -- This morning's torrential rains left highway 181 to Sinton and 359 to Mathis flooded. That meant taking 202 from Beeville to Refugio, to Sinton, to get Cathi into Corpus to spend the remainder of the week with her family. We stopped for a late lunch at Paradise Billiards (KFTX gift certificate), then Josh and I drove into Mathis for uncle Bubba's lake party (Zach opted to hang out at his friend William Hughes' house in Beeville). Cous-uncle Will put Josh in charge of the fireworks show and he did a pretty good job once we found matches and a lighter that worked.
