There is nothing soft about that ball

Thursday, July 10, 2008 -- The "Harris & Petrus" softball team took the field this evening for the first game of the season. The team, comprised mostly of Joshua's former high school baseball buddies, suffered a 17-2 loss to the Blue Jays. "I didn't expect to win, but I didn't think we'd get beat THAT bad," said Josh. In the first three innings we put up 10 batters and logged 9 outs. We rallied in the 4th but were 15-run-ruled before the 5th. The team roster included, in batting order, Ronnie Petrus, Noel Solis, Jose Lopez, Ben Mengers, Ricky "I'm scared" Gutierrez, Josh "Me too" Petrus, Coleman Mengers, Jacob Perez, Joe Rey Gonzales, Sid Garcia, and myself.
